Our client is recruiting a number of Electricians to join their team on a prestigious new contract in Cambridge.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and excellent benefits package.

What will you deliver?

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections, commission and test in accordance with published procedures.
• Actively participate in the operation and control of all engineering planned maintenance schemes. Undertaking essential repair works and general maintenance activities to plant.
• Undertake fault finding and rectification on electrical infrastructure, controls, aswell as other critical systems and equipment.
• Carry out emergency repairs as required (which may require overtime).
• Obligation to undertake training where necessary to learn new techniques and technology.
• Monitor the building services and report defects to the Technical Supervisors.
• May require participation on a call out roster, which will include working unsocial hours.

Competent in fault finding and diagnostics and procurement of spares

Be willing to complete role-specific training on and off-site

Sufficient knowledge and skill to be able to use computers

Experience of requirements management and a system engineering approach

Maintains and develops knowledge, capability and competence in latest engineering standards and techniques

Must be able to obtain Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) clearance

Driving licence ( electric vehicle provided to drive around the site)
