300 North are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in the Northern half of the UK. This is a permanent full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary, starting from £65,00 - £73,000 + car allowance.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will assist in managing the costs of various project. This will include preparing tender and contract documents, procuring for materials for day-to-day site tasks and procuring a robust supply chain and logging payments and orders.
Experience with district heating would be extremely advantageous.
Full support to develop your competencies and skills will be provided by experienced mentors.
What will you deliver?
- To assist with commercial administration and management on several live projects or projects at pre-construction phase
- To carry out measures of all works accurately
- Procurement and placing orders as per site requests
- Assist in Sub-contract procurement and commercial management
- Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts
- Tendering and Estimating
- Preparation of documentation and the like for valuation, procurement, or commercial administration
Monday to Friday working remotely.
Occasional travel to sites will be required.
