Salary/Package
- £41,000 per annum basic
- 45-hour week
- Time and half paid after 45 hours and double time on a Sunday
- On call standing payment of £100
- On call 1 in 8
- 21 days holiday plus 8 days statutory bank holidays
Our client is recruiting a Multi-skilled engineer to join their team in the West Midlands. The role is working in commercial environments such as Public Houses and restaurants in the region.
Duties include:
- Ensure that HVAC Planned maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed client expectations and agreed service level agreements
- Respond to reactive work and PPMs
- Provide competitive quotations for projects which include HVAC works.
- Complete HVAC to Commercial premises that are fully compliant with the latest Regulations
- Ensure all building fabric elements are functional and operational within design parameters and carry out reactive repairs within agreed response and rectification times
- Keep all plant/rooms/services and enclosures clean, tidy, safe and secure
- Assist other engineers/staff with their duties as required
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties that may be necessary during the course of your working shift
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration
- City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3
- F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079, was 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants)
- Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract
- Be proactive with the ability to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults.
- Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems. Ability to prioritise own workload
- Flexibility and adaptability to change / flexible approach to work and working hours
- Pro-active and positive approach to work
- Must have sound interpersonal skills and pay attention to detail
- Presented in a clean and tidy manner to represent the company, in the most professional manner possible, utilising the uniform and PPE issued
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner
- Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within the role
- Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service
- Must be available to join a call-out rota
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
