Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Edinburgh

Our client is looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to work in their estates team on a static site in Edinburgh.
The Role
- Maintenance and minor works service covering a wide and varied range of mechanical equipment
- Servicing large industrial units such as dual fired boilers and heating and ventilation distribution equipment
- Working on heating equipment (pumps, control valves, radiators)
- Working on ventilation equipment (fans, heating/cooling coils, Humidification)
- Working on Domestic Hot Water equipment (calorifiers, safety devices)
- Undertake fault finding on complex medical gas systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, commissioning and testing in accordance with published procedures
- Use of all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- An appropriately recognised Mechanical/Engineering apprenticeship C&G, Scotvec (SVQ3), or equivalent.
- A good standard of Secondary Education, including Maths and English, along with a flexible approach to working within a team.
- Be able to work in accordance with the requirements of Health Technical Memoranda (HTM's)
