Operations Director

We are recruiting on behalf of a large Facilities Management Organisation for an Operations Director to be based in the Midlands on PFI contracts.

• Midlands/Birmingham
• £65000 - £70000 plus car allowance plus 15% bonus
• PFI Facilities Management contracts

As a senior member of the management team, you will be responsible for developing an efficient organizational structure, strategy setting, client relationship building, business development and project management on the PFI contracts.

Duties

• Manging the P&L of the allocated portfolio of contracts delivering FM services optimising the profitability of the business
• Lead on the management of risk as well as opportunity, in a safe and compliant manner
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Customers generating value and ensuring long-term business opportunities for the region
• Providing leadership to ensure compliance with statutory and Company practices across all service lines
• Leading and directing Operational leads throughout the region to ensure the business operates to a performance culture, with continuous improvement and increased employee engagement.
• Ensuring a Talent pipeline/key successors are identified across the portfolio.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent experience
• Significant experience operating at a director level delivering FM and/or outsourced Solutions within a PFI environment
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen with experience of running P&L consisting of multiple clients / stakeholders
• Excellent presentation, influencing and motivation skills
• Inspirational people leader with experience of working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team in a matrixed organisation
