Quantity Surveyor
We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a Facilities Management contract near Reading

- £45-50k plus car
- Facilities Management Contract
As a quantity Surveyor, you will be producing estimates up to £1m, managing the billing process for contracts and producing monthly contract valuations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comparing quotes and tender allowances
- Agreeing terms and conditions of subcontractors
- Working with the contract manager to select suitable subcontractors
- Preparing tender enquiries to subcontractors
- Producing valuation breakdowns to maximise cash flow
- Coordinating interim applications for payment
- Chasing valuations from clients
- Presenting final accounts in a timely fashion and present financial appraisals.
- Playing a pivotal role in the handover of the tender
- Setting profitability targets
- Liasing with clients and dealing with invoice queries
- Producing estimates from the National Schedule of Rates.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified Quantity Surveyor
- Previous experience in a similar QS Role
- Experience producing estimates/tenders
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organised and efficient.
- Schedule of rates experience is an advantage
