Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Permanent
- Salary £33,500 plus Van
- 37.5 hour week ( 8 - 4.30)
- Location: Edinburgh & across Central Belt)
- Our client is looking for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join their team and work on commercial properties in Edinburgh and across the central belt of Scotland.
The Role
As an electrical maintenance engineer, you will be joining a team of maintenance staff to assist with the maintenance of a number of retail stores and offices. You will have a proven track record of working as an electrical maintenance engineer within the FM industry.
- You will have an understanding of how a building operates and have experience of working on ventilation, lighting and air conditioning.
- Minor works including installations of additional sockets
- Annual /5 year testing and remedial work
- PAT Testing specified equipment
- Minor changes to ring mains
- Replacing and repairing data cables
- Installing new IT points
- Maintenance or replacement of any damaged property ( within an electrical remit)
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 17th Edition
- Minimum 3 years experience within FM
- Minimum 3 years maintenance experience within the commercial/ retail sector
- Strong understanding and awareness of health and safety on site
- UK driving licence is essential.
You will be a good communicator, be able to follow processes and experienced with paperwork. in return you will receive:-
- £33,500 salary

- 21 days holidays plus bank holidays
- time and a half for evenings and Saturdays and double time for Sundays
