Compliance Manager
We are recruiting for a Technical Compliance Manager for at least 3 months with a possible extension due to work load.
We are looking for Immediately available people.
- Rate £16-£20 per hour (negotiable for right individual)

Duties:
- Statutory compliance
- Statutory maintenance inspections and legal and technical compliance of planned and reactive maintenance activity;
- Ensuring that buildings, plant and assets are recorded and maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
- Maintaining asbestos management plans and the corporate asbestos register;
- Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability or risk and preventative action putting action plan in to resolve
- Producing regular reports on statutory and contract compliance
- Receiving regular updates on new or changing compliance requirements from our corporate SHEQ technical support team and ensure appropriate action is taken across all partnership services.
- Responsibility for the development and maintenance of the bespoke PPM system for utilisation by the maintenance teams.
- Liaise with Central technical team and external bodies
- To undertake co-ordinating / senior AP role for associated to specific building systems
- To act as 'subject matter expert' for all relevant systems; Gas, Water, Pressure, HVAC, LOLER,to current Legislative, Regulatory and Statutory.
- To keep up-to-date of all changes and amendments to statutory legislation and mandatory requirements relating to the safe and effective maintenance and operation of building services and installations.
- Production and review of policies and protocols for each discipline.
- Ensure appropriate levels of AP, CP and RP personal are trained, qualified and experienced in each required discipline.
- Produce and Validate monthly technical reports for both client and central technical team demonstrating service compliance with payment mechanism/contractual delivery.
- Lead and deliver the administration of all Compliance, Legislative and Operational documents and manuals.
- To work with the Operations and Project Works to provide and develop the PPM and Asset data base within Maximo in order to provide an effective Facilities Maintenance service.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Electrical or mechanical qualified ( not essential)
- Must be available immediately
- Experienced with compliance, procedures
- Some Project Manager skills
- Asbestos Awareness (advantage)
- Experience of working on complex contracts
- Strong and organised with can do attitude
