Interim Project Procurement Officer
We are recruiting on behalf of a large Facilities Management Organisation for an Interim Project Procurement Officer based in Llanberis. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely provision of goods, works and services to include the placing, renewal and associated negotiation of all procurement commitments in compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Duties of the role:
- Ensure that goods, works and services are procured in accordance with the Company Ethics Guidelines and FHC Procurement, Contracts & Stores policy.
- Ensure by diligent procurement and market engagement, that value for money is achieved and wherever possible add value and optimise contract risk.
- Ensure and manage the environmental impacts of our procurement activities and ensure all contract environmental obligations are met.
- Collaborate with Legal and where required, negotiate on key terms and conditions for contracts for goods, works and services on model form conditions of contract e
- Negotiating contracts up to maximum value of £1m including key plant items ensure the desired level of quality, service, and/or product are secured at the optimum value. Including developing contracting strategies, processes and documentation (from existing templates) for tendering Requests for Proposals.
- Support the business with other activities as deemed appropriate by the Finance & Procurement Manager which does not exceed the experience and skills required for this role.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role ensuring compliance with Procurement KPIs
- Experience working with and maintaining an audit trail for all procurement
- Good financial acumen working to budgets
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
