Fabric Supervisor
Newcastle
£29,500 plus benefits
Our client is looking for a Fabric Supervisor to join their team covering a number of contracts across the north east. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week. You will be looking after a small team of trades staff.
The Role
- Carry out Fabric and Building Installation, Maintenance and Repair duties at specified sites, including joinery, plastering, flooring, ceiling, plumbing and ground works
- Provide support to the general engineering teams as required
- Produce installation/repair quotations
- Attend Regional Manager/Supervisor Meetings
- Be customer focused within all areas of operational activities
- Increase the productivity of the team by monitoring their performance
- Hold regular meetings with the team under the Supervisor's control.
- Control and monitor the performance of fabric specialist service providers and sub-contractors.
- Carry out competence and quality checks on all engineers reporting into them and ensure level of competence is maintained.
Qualifications & Experience
- Time Served fully qualified technician preferably with a joinery background.
- Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of building fabric within commercial buildings in general.
- Understanding of all relevant legislative and statutory requirements and implementation of Safe Systems of Work.
