Contracts Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a PFI Contracts Manager to work for a leading Facilities Management organisation based near Catford, London

- Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 + Car
- Location – Catford London
- Facilities Manager Contract
- Must have PFI Education/schools experience
- TFM Contract hard & soft services
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
- Providing a safe and healthy environment and working conditions for all direct report employees
- Complying with all policies/procedures to ensure timely and effectively implementation
- Ensuring contractual commitments are met in accordance with contract SLA's and other requirements detailed within the contract documentation
- Delivering projects to the customers requirement and on time
- Promoting an open and direct management style that encourages progress and development with team members and client stakeholders
- Ensuring financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and monitored
- Being customer focused within all areas of operational activities and maximising relationships with clients
- Ensuring the contracts are staffed by fully competent properly trained engineers, with all post holders being appropriately skilled and experienced to undertake their role effectively, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place
- Delivering effective communication through competent advice, leadership and direct contribution to client management meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence and monthly and ad-hoc reporting, as appropriate
- Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of site services hard & soft services
- Energy monitoring and recommendations
- Keeping customers' building safe and compliant
- Monitoring and managing WIP/Debt to an acceptable level
- Complying with and record keeping for Company ISO Quality Management Systems
- Ensuring that Concept Evolution is fully deployed and used for all maintenance and reactive events
- Controlling and monitoring the performance of the specialist service providers and Sub-contractors
- Being responsible for the operational management and service delivery of all contracted services
- Ensuring the provision of extra works and 'out of contract' works proposals have the required authorisations before commencing and that they are produced in a timely manner, in line with contract requirements
- Managing costs and maximising profitability in line with the regional budget and the requirements of the contract
- Other reasonable activities as necessary
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- Good team manager
- Excellent motivator of people
- Extensive experience in building services, working within PFI Schools environments
- Experience within TFM contracts
- Ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
- Good knowledge of building services and legislation
- Experience in P&L management
- Lifecycle experience
- Proactive and enthusiastic Team Player that brings out the best in others
- Health and Safety aware in all aspects of the business
- Highly customer focused with a capacity to learn and progress
- Excellent motivator of people
- Demonstrate an understanding of change control process
