Our client a leading National Facilities Management provider is currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician, to work on a large cultural site based in South London.
The Role:
- Maintain a strong customer relationship with client and site management.
Work within SHEQ and H&S guidelines at all times
Ensure contractual services are delivered in such a way that it is possible to achieve agreed PPM, Reactive SLA's and quality targets.
Undertake proactive checks / corrective actions to ensure the full operation of the sites.
Reports directly to the Technical Shift Leader (1x electrical 1x mechanical)
Undertake any electrical/mechanical/fabric related works as directed.
Carry out any reasonable request as instructed by line manager
Being able to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
Undertake AP, CP, RP assessments & carryout tasks as per appointment.
All tools and uniform required for the role will also be provided. There may also be the opportunity at times for overtime work.
The role will be working as part of a shift covering four on four off 08:00-20:00
An out of hours call out rota that covers 7 days a week.
The Candidate
- 18th Edition Wiring regs. Level 1,2,3
Experienced fault-finding skills in mains - power distribution circuits, control boards, lighting circuits faults etc.
IPAF Certificated for 3a & 3b machines (Desirable)
Although not crucial a basic understanding of the L8 ACOP would also be beneficial
A minimum of five years' experience following qualification.
Relevant qualifications pertinent to their engineering discipline, e.g., Full Electrical apprenticeship. Gas Safe or F-GAS
Experience with AHU, Air con system, Plumbing and Chillers (Desirable)
The Package:
- £35,000 per annum
Van and fuel card provided.
20 days holiday per year
