Head of Water Treatment
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Water Treatment to work on a new contract. This is a home-based role originally looking after contracts in London and the South of England and expanding to Nationwide.

As the Head of Water Treatment, you will be responsible for building a team on this new commercial contract that will deliver self-delivered Water Treatment capabilities to all divisions across the United Kingdom.
Role Responsibilities
- Effectively develop and manage all Water Treatment activities in line with agreed commercial and governance processes
- Ensure all contracts achieve contractual compliance regarding PPMs and reactive remedial works
- Responsible for recruitment of the new team for the contract
- Full financial responsibility including managing the P&L and ensuring the Water treatment Business Unit remains on budget
- Ensure all additional and Subcontracted Works have Site Specific RAMS produced
- Monthly Meeting with Water Authorising Engineer/s Producing and presenting the Monthly Business Unit Report
- Expansion of Water treatment Self-delivery Operations in line with the phased business model across the United Kingdom
Qualifications/Candidate Requirements
- Previous significant experience at senior level working on a water treatment contract
- BSC in Microbiology or equivalent industry experience
- Thorough understanding of water treatment and water hygiene – Legionella
- Legionella L8 Qualification
- Previous experience building and managing a large team
- Have managed a P&L and full financial responsibility on a contract
- Excellent communication skills having presented to senior stake holders
- Membership of the institute of water is desirable
