Assistant Project Manager
We are recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to work on a healthcare contract for a leading Facilities Management organisation in the West Midlands.
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager to deliver the capital works and lifecycle projects on the contract. This will involve site management, health and safety management and managing trade operatives and subcontractors on site and necessary completion, snagging and handover of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in compiling all pre-start information.
- Provide structured approach to project planning; to include site health and safety
- Provide project & weekly programme information and KPI’s and feed back into monitoring and reporting systems
- Supervision of the Site Team with regards to health and safety and Quality Control through a structured monitoring process and auditing.
- Liaison with the client on both a formal and informal basis
- Ensure all necessary licences, permits etc are issued and in place to execute the works correctly.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Higher National Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent experience
- Previous experience assisting projects on a healthcare contract
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- SMSTS certified
- Previous experience supervising subcontractors
