Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Temporary to Permanent Role
- Salary £27633 Inc on Call (1 in 6)
- 37.5 hour week
- Location: Newcastle
Our client is looking for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join their maintenance team based in Newcastle.
The Role
As a electrical maintenance engineer, you will be joining a team of 17 staff to assist with the maintenance of their estates department.
Duties include:-
- General repairs of lights and lamps
- PAT Testing specified equipment
- Replacing switches and sockets
- Minor works include installing additional sockets
- Minor changes to ring mains
- Replacing and repairing data cables
- Installing new IT points
- Maintenance or replacement of any damaged property ( within an electrical remit)
Qualifications
- Time served Electrician
- 17th Edition/ 18th Edition
- Clean UK driving licence
- Standard DBS required - we can apply for this
The Person
- You will be looking for a move to work for a company that has a steady pace, 37.5 hour working week.
- You will be looking to become a permanent member of the maintenance team.
- Standard DBS check required
