<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in <strong>building surveying, engineering, or Hard FM</strong> who enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic lifecycle planning. You'll play a key role in ensuring survey outputs are accurate, structured, and aligned with long-term asset management objectives.</p><p>Working closely with operational teams, survey partners, and internal stakeholders, you'll help drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across survey planning and lifecycle data management.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul>
<li>Coordinate and support the delivery of PFI condition surveys across multiple projects and sites</li><li>Review and validate survey outputs including asset data, condition assessments, and lifecycle recommendations</li><li>Manage survey information flow between Facilities Management  (FM) teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders</li><li>Assist with the development of survey guidance documents, standards, and scopes of work</li><li>Monitor survey programmes, identifying and resolving quality or delivery issues where required</li><li>Work collaboratively with FM teams to improve data quality and reporting standards</li><li>Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks within survey submissions and lifecycle assumptions</li><li>Ensure survey documentation is controlled, auditable, and maintained to a high standard</li><li>Participate in planning meetings and contribute to lifecycle and asset strategy discussions</li><li>Support the creation of training materials and best-practice guidance</li></ul>
<p><strong>Essential Experience & Skills</strong></p><ul>
<li>Experience interpreting and validating <strong>condition survey</strong> data for l<strong>ifecycle or asset planning purposes</strong></li><li>Background in Hard FM, building surveying, engineering, or asset management</li><li>MCIOB chartered building surveyor desirable but not essential </li><li>Experience managing outsourced service providers or technical contractors</li><li>Understanding of condition survey methodologies, lifecycle planning principles, and asset data governance</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>PFI/PPP environments</strong> or long-term asset maintenance contracts</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders effectively</li><li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail and documentation control</li><li>Commercial awareness and ability to identify operational or contractual risks</li><li>Able to work independently while contributing positively within a wider team</li><li>Strong analytical and prioritisation skills across multiple projects</li></ul>
