We have a new an exciting opportunity for a Digital Information Manager to be based in Birmingham
Our client is a Facilities Management organisation who are at the cutting edge of Digital Transformation, technology and business transformation
Working as part of the Facilities Management team and with multiple stakeholders involved, my client is looking for an excellent communicator who is able to form strong relationships and have a keen interest in promoting Digital Information for facilities management in the built environment.

Duties:
- The Digital Information Manager will need to ensure that the building data is received in a complete and timely manner from the client, construction partners or other parties involved in the project.
- Ensuring data is effectively stored and maintained to reflect updates and changes to the assets and other building information.
- Managing relevant access permissions and provide support to stakeholders requiring access.
- The Digital Information Manager will develop links to the technical support functions and assist in helping to develop the company strategy for Digital Data Repositories
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Applications, SharePoint, and construction related software packages AutoCAD, Solibr and Navisworks
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- Use of collaboration sites, such as ASite, 4Projects,etc.
- Familiar with data exchange formats such as DGN, DWG, IFC and COBie
- Have a good working knowledge of industry standards such as PAS 1192
- Relevant construction industry experience in the context of Information Management and BIM
- Have excellent communication and organisation skills
- Be able to work under own supervision to meet deadlines
