Our Client: are innovative air management experts who design, manufacture, install and commission a diverse mix of products and solutions.

Our client are recruiting for a refrigeration engineer to work closely with the Factory manager and the head of refrigeration to create continuous improvement of techniques which will develop the production and assembly processes to deliver high quality products in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage workshop timescales and organisation of works within the refrigeration team and the installation of pipework to ensure customer's requirements are met and projects are delivered on time
• Provide Help and Support to all employees within the Refrigeration team.
• To assist within the workshop and production area when necessary
• To delegate jobs to the Engineers and monitor productivity
• To liaise with and co-operate with other supervisors to maintain an efficient workflow and working practices
• To attend meetings as requested and provide performance reports
• Ensure in house testing and quality control procedures are implemented correctly
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting junior engineers and apprentice trainees
• The ability to plan pipe layouts and bend piping of various sizes to the correct layout
• The ability to braze copper to copper or copper to steel / brass to the required company standards

The Ideal Candidate:

- The ability to communicate effectively and work within a team environment.

- Strong understanding of production and assembly processes within a fabrication environment

- Excellent pipe bending skills

- Excellent brazing skills / silver soldering

- Good level of general engineering skills

- Good understanding of quality control procedures

- High level of motivation and flexible approach

- Experience of installing refrigeration systems.

- NVQ level 3 in refrigeration / air conditioning

- F-Gas handling
