Description

  • £45,000 p/a + expensed vehicle

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to look after 3 sites in the Slough area. Managing subcontractors, you will ensure all PPM and reactive maintenance is undertaken on the sites and that technical compliance and budgets and adhered to.

The sites are educational facilities, and the contract covers planned and reactive maintenance as well as lifecycle, variation and defect works on the M+E assets of the building. These are PFI/LIFT contracts so experience in this field and advantageous but not essential.

This role would suit someone with a go-getting attitude to come in and run the provision, taking action and getting results.

The role:

    Ensuring the PPM and reactive maintenance of the 3 local sites is completed in line with KPI's
  • Deliver lifecycle and planned project works across the roles
  • Ensuring technical and statutory compliance across the contract and assets
  • Conducting site audits and risk assessments as required (SHEQ)
  • Completing the works within budget
  • Managing external subcontractors as required
  • Working with customer to make sure they're pleased with the service and a strong relationship is forged.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following skills and experience:


  • Come from a hands-on maintenance background - mechanical or electrical
  • Have experience managing subcontractors
  • Experience managing PPM and Reactive maintenance in line with a budget
  • PFI experience is desirable (not essential)
  • Must be willing to undergo a DBS check and must hold a UK driving license.
