Interim Head of Soft Services
- Durham
- 3 month contract
- £55 - 60K equivalent
Our client is looking for an interim Head of Soft Services to join the team on a 3 month contract. You must have recent operational experience and PFI experience is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure high quality service delivery across the range of services provided by ENGIE by applying professional expertise and management control.
- Working with Heads of Service, ensure financial performance is achieved on the contract to meet agreed targets for turnover, profit and cash.
- Ensure a sound commercial understanding of the contractual deliverables across the contract.
- As part of the Senior Management Team, develop and agree strategies that meet the service provision demands, in line with the PFI contract and ENGIE objectives. To review and continuously improve these to meet changing requirements.
- Promoting/fostering a culture of continuous improvement whereby improvements to service delivery and commercial value are identified and implemented.
- Ensure effective working relationships with internal and external customers to maximise operational excellence and growth opportunity.
- Lead and direct the FM Soft Services team to ensure we operate a performance culture. Management of supervisors.
- Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe environment for all employees, the client and patients.
Experience:
- Healthcare and FM experience, PFI experience - desirable but not essential
- Significant experience of leading high performing and engaged teams and building strong relationships (internal and external)
- Standard DBS required
- SIA licence desirable (we may look to put someone through this if not currently held)
